An Earthquake of 4.3 on the Richter scale rocks Mizoram at 7:13Pm on 19th April 2011. No falling bottles/utensils. However people ran out from houses.
Epicenter is longitude 92.97E latitude 24.26N and recorded 35 Km deep just north east of Sakawrdai, a Sub-divisional Hqrs and east of Sakawrdai to Zohmun PMGSY road.
The Epicenter is quite close to proposed Tipaimukh high Dam where there is proposal to generate 1500MW. Its a bit north West of where Tuivai river joins Tuiruang(Barak)

That is 0904 IST. Way before 7:13Pm IST. Why does everyone keep referring this as the one which hit Aizawl? Or am I missing something?
